Growing up onSydney’s Northern Beaches, Jade Brand has a sunny disposition and boundless amounts of energy. Standing tall at just over 170cm but a petite size 8, she resembles everything that a beautiful, professional dancer should.
Previously crowned as Australia’s favourite dance instructor on Channel 7’s Dancing With The Stars, this pint sized performer with a love of dance has proved that you don’t need to be big to achieve big results!
Her talent as one ofAustralia’s youngest dancing professionals has seen her excel in the areas of Ballroom and Latin American dance.
Jade won the right to represent Australia in the World 10 Dance Championship in Prague and then followed this up with a number of major championship wins, including 1st Latin American Aust Championship; 1st USA Open Amateur Junior Standard Championship; 1st USA Diamond Classic Junior Latin Championship; 1st USA Diamond Classic Junior Standard Championship; 1st USA Diamond Classic Youth Latin Championship; and 1st USA Diamond Classic Youth Standard Championship.
Jade’s exceptional dance ability has also her seen her choreograph for Channel Ten’s, So You Think You Can Dance (2008) and partner entertainment reporter, James Tobin in Dancing With The Stars (2008), but 2009 saw Jade Brand (then Hatcher)’s rise to fame, as Australia fell in love with Jade and dance partner Adam Brand’s attempts to win over the judges. Her adaptable choreography and amazing chemistry between the two enabled the pair to go on and win the 2009 series of Dancing With The Stars.
Jade has also appeared in a number of commercials and has participated in Channel 7’s Carols In The Domain.
Away from dancing, Jade enjoys being at home and cooking with and for her now off dance floor husband, Adam Brand.
