Mark Gable Stars In New Show: Mass Orgs – Tales Of An Aussie Rocker!
MASS ORGS – Tales of An Aussie Rocker, runs from 13th-19th September at the Old Fitzroy Theatre and delivers a theatrical interpretation of a life gone crazy and most definitely gone wrong!
Starring Choirboys Mark Gable, this highly entertaining and off the wall newly devised show, has Gable telling stories about the twists and turns of his career, including what really goes on behind the scenes, personal tragedies and much more.
MASS ORGS will highlight that a Rock Star’s private life and backstage antics are sometimes more interesting than their onstage persona.
“I had no idea what I was doing, I still have no idea what I am doing but I have always done it and will continue to do with flare, commitment, passion and a total lack of responsibility”. Says Gable. “It’s not what you do onstage that makes the difference, it is who you get it off with backstage”. Gable continues with a cheeky grin.
MASS ORGS will be directed by Brian Cobb and displays another side of the already eccentric Mark Gable.
“I’m excited to work with Mark and bring his fun, tragic and downright absurd stories to the stage” Cobb comments on working with Gable.
Cobb is no stranger to directing original works, credits include: Hard On, In The Bag, Doctor Shopping and A Friend In Need. Cobbs other credits include producing the Australian feature film The Plex (Starring Yvonne Strahovski and Steve Bastoni) and starring alongside Sam Worthington in the feature film Fink.
