Marcus Corowa Hits Canberra
What an amazing start to the year it has been for our amazing artist, Marcus Corowa.
Moving from his home town in Queensland to Sydney in 2011, Marcus is embedding himself as a mainstay in the Sydney music scene. Marcus saw 2014 arrive, with a performance at Bradleys Head, Mosman on New Years Eve and has since had gigs at Bourbon Bar, Potts Point; Donnys Bar, Manly; Mars Hill Café, Parramatta; NSW Art Gallery, Sydney; and The Vamguard, Newtown.
The soulful sounds of Marcus Corowa are now set to fill The Front Gallery & Café, Canberra. Marcus’s soulful, soothing sound and heartfelt lyrics are sure to entertain at this Canberra venue on March 22nd, 2014, as this award winning Indigenous singer / songwriter showcases his original material and classic covers.
The Front Gallery & Café is a unique and intimate venue, where art, music and self-expression is encouraged.
With the release of Marcus’s debut EP, The Greater You (through Gadigal Music) in 2012 more and more people are catching on to the groove that is Marcus Corowa’s soulful sound. His second EP will be released in 2014. This is the chance for Canberra audiences to witness one of Australia’s most promising new talents.
