Celebrate Mardi Gras at the Rainbow Room this summer and be part of the unofficial festival club, where you can expect world-class entertainment that is always surprising and hilarious.

Smart Arsing
is an extraordinarily unique concept; part ‘talk show pilot’, part radio play, part ‘bad acting’, part ‘completely and utterly winging it!’

Hosted by the infamous, witty and wild Gretel Killeen as the iconic ‘The Minister For Men’,Smart Arsing is a brilliant night of unbridled genius, guffaws, irreverence, song, dance, lunacy and gob-smacking joie de vivre. With an ever-evolving cast, each show will be a unique and hilarious one-off, performed by an inimitable gaggle of brilliantly acclaimed incongruous talents: a notorious criminal barrister, a multiple Logie Award winning journalist, poetic politicians, international drag superstars, TV’s intellectual bad boy, award winning jazz and country icons, anarchic comedy legends and a very small heavy metal band playing Frozen.

Do not miss this fabulous soiree of smart arses.

Smart Arsing is hosted by The Minister For Men played by Gretel Killeen:  provocateur, TV host, stand-comic, actor, journalist, author, one footed tap dancer and failed intellectual.

Her supporting cast is an extraordinary array of Australian talent as you’ve never seen them before; intense, hilarious, dangerous, prophetic and magnificently mad. These shows star a different cast each night: brilliantly acclaimed incongruous talents from Ray Martin to Charles Waterstreet, Becci Cole, Libby O’Donovan, Jordan Raskopoulos, Lillye, Joe Hildebrand, Bettina Arndt, Penny Greenhalgh, Nikki Britton, Robbie McGregor, The Sandman, Epiphany Morgan, Alex Greenwich, Jenny Leong, Carole Haddad, Wilma Bumhurt, Alistair Lee, Joey Moore, The Big Smokes and a mini monarchy of iconic international Drag Queens (whose names are top secret).

Don’t miss out. Book now… because these nights may never happen again.

(The Minister For Men was originally created as a web series by Kacie Anning and All About Women 2015, a flagship ideas festival at the Sydney Opera House – we thank them!)
