Last week North Queensland was ravaged by Cyclone Debbie, entire communities have lost their homes, their livelihoods, and sadly, some have lost their lives.

In Marcus Corowa’s hometown of Bowen, Cyclone Debbie ripped roofs from dwellings and tore walls apart leaving a trail of destruction. Rising above the devastation Bowen residents are uniting to rebuild their community with spirit and determination.

With immediate family and friends impacted by the devastation in his hometown, Marcus Corowa is keen to help the community of Bowen. All profits from his Just The Two of Us: Songs of Bill Withers by Marcus Corowa show at The Brass Monkey on Thursday April 13th 2017 will be donated to Bowen Neighbourhood Centre, who contribute towards the dignity, well-being and quality of life of the communities they support.

“The town has been hit pretty hard so I wanted to do this to help my community back home. I really admire the work the Bowen Neighbourhood Centre does for the community.” says Marcus.

Join Marcus and help raise funds for a great cause as he shares the stories and songs from the life of inspirational musician Bill Withers in an intimate concert setting.
